Yoga for teens
Adolescence is a period of great change, in which your new identity is being forged. Yoga can help you channel your energy, to discover and rediscover your body during this state of flux. The sensation that ensues is that of a calm inner space, and a renewed sensitivity. It can also help you to quiet your mind, helping you to concentrate on your studies, and to compete in your favourite sports. More than anything, yoga will teach you to listen to your inherent wisdom, and to the messages your body and mind send you, helping you make the best decisions for you.
In a yoga class, there should be no notion of performance. You will be encouraged to follow your own needs and to take care of your own wellbeing.
