Hatha Yoga is the mother of almost all the types of yoga that we practice today. It is simple and efficient, balancing energy and qualities in every dimension of our being. The postures can be held for just a few breaths, or up to twenty full breaths in the more advanced classes.
It is the perfect class to learn postures and correct alignment, as we take time to enter, hold, and release them. A part of the class is dedicated to learning proper breathing techniques, and to the Sun Salutation. Hatha Yoga focuses on both strengthening and stretching the body in a balanced way.
